Tuesday, February 3, 7:30 p.m. (doors 7 p.m.): Robert Loerzel will be one of the readers at Tuesday Funk in the upstairs bar at the Hopleaf, 5148 N. Clark St. The show will also feature readings by Dawn Angelicca Barcelona, PJ Bauman, Robin Billadeau, and Lori Rader-Day. Andrew Huff and Erin Watson cohost. Admission is free, but you must be 21 to attend. Doors open at 7 p.m. sharp (tables tend to fill up fast, so don’t be late!) and the show will start at 7:30 pm. tuesdayfunk.org

Extended: A small exhibition about the Uptown Theatre’s centennial is on display near the entrance of the Chicago History Museum’s Chicago: Crossroads of America galleries. Originally scheduled to close Jan. 4, the exhibition has been extended and will remain on display in the coming months. 1601 N. Clark St., Chicago www.chicagohistory.org
